I am delighted to say that, after many years of preparation, my new album is ready, available on CD or digital download from all major platforms.

'Les Cerisiers' is the French for 'The Cherry Trees' and the title is inspired by the magnificent cherry blossom which blooms on our trees every year in our garden in The Dordogne. It is also inspired by the first track of the disc, 'The Sakura Variations' which is a piece based on the Japanese folk song 'Sakura' which also means 'cherry blossom'. You can order the disc from my Online shop and if you would like multiple copies, please contact me at danplucks@aol.com so I can arrange a reduced price and P&P.

If you would like to order 'Les Cerisiers' as a gift for someone, I would be happy to dedicate and sign individual discs to the person of your choosing. Just mention this when you message me. I will ensure that they arrive well before Christmas.

'Les Cerisiers' is available at €13 per disc with €2 post and packaging. Any orders of 3 discs or more will attract a lower price of €12 per disc and reduced P&P (according to how many are ordered).

'Les Cerisiers' is also available as a digital download from all major digital music platforms. Just search 'Dan Jones - Les Cerisiers'.

I am deeply proud of the album as it contains four of my own new compositions for guitar. It also has my own original arrangements of Celtic and Spanish folk songs, such as The Water is Wide, The Wild Mountain Thyme and Cielito Lindo, heard here for the first time.

These tracks are presented alongside much-loved favourites of the classical and Spanish guitar repertoire, including Asturias by Albeniz, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring by J S Bach and La Paloma by Sebastian Yradier.
